Registered Osteopath

BSc (Hons) Ost Med

A woman with curly blonde hair wearing a black shirt, smiling against a plain light background.

Rebecca brings 19 years of experience as an osteopath, having completed her osteopathic education in London, UK. Her journey into the field began after she experienced the benefits of osteopathy firsthand for an injury she sustained in her 20s. The holistic nature of osteopathy resonated deeply with Rebecca, and she is passionate about incorporating these values into her treatments.

As a dedicated osteopath, Rebecca genuinely values the connections she forms with her patients and takes the time to understand their stories and passions. She recognises that every individual is unique and adopts a holistic, patient-centered approach, tailoring treatments to meet specific needs and empowering patients to take control of their health.

Rebecca has extensive experience in treating and managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, having worked in both the UK and Australia, as well as volunteering as an osteopath in Peru. She draws on her diverse experience to understand your pain and help you return to the activities you love. Rebecca employs a variety of treatment modalities, including dry needling, kinesiology taping and myofascial techniques, alongside traditional osteopathic methods such as mobilisations and manipulations (HVLA).

Rebecca has a special interest in treating patients with:

  • Headaches

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Hip pain

  • Complex, chronic musculoskeletal conditions

Since relocating to Tasmania in 2019, Rebecca now calls Hobart her home. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, walking her dog, cycling, swimming, and pursuing further studies.

Rebecca is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Osteopathy Australia. Her provider number is 5300886W.

Other qualifications include:

  • Level 1 and 2 Dry Needling

  • BSc (Hons) Psychology

  • Currently studying for BN

Rebecca is available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate Saturdays.
